“What is the Polite Way to Tell Mitt Romney’s Family That We Think He’s a Weirdo?”
Watch this, really.
When i was asked to speak with Mitt Romney it seemed like a very important thing to me, and I wanted to put a lot of careful thought into what I would say. So, I went to the round table discussion very optimistic and interested in hearing what he had to say.
When he sat down, one of the first questions he asked was, he said “I understand there is a teacher here today, which one of you is a teacher?”
So, I raised my hand, thinking that’s a good thing, he’s interested in education, but it wasn’t a good thing. I felt like his view was a little old-fashioned and I was surprised by it. He went on to kind of lecture me about schools and how bad they are. He talked bad about the teacher’s union. He was talking about the importance of private schools and voucher systems.
At one point, I said to him, “I have an answer for that.” And he said, “I didn’t ask you a question.”

Michael’s “We Built America” t-shirts were a big hit at Ms. Duff’s show & tell.
Look everyone — the Romney campaign has appropriated precious classroom time for some free advertising!
Hey, remember when Fox “News” would freak out over the smallest hint that teachers and schools had done anything similar to this?
Good thing Mitt Romney’s party doesn’t hate teachers so much.
Also if those kids “built America,” then does that mean you’re okay with child labor, Mitt?
I don’t know what’s going on here but this kid sums up everyone’s feelings about Mitt Romney adequately:

Romney energy policy involves more oil drilling on land, offshore
Romney’s would empower U.S. states to control drilling on federal lands he says could raise trillions of dollars in government revenue.
If This Is Why Mitt’s Taxes Are Secret, His Base Will Disown Him
Some people are saying this is the real reason Mitt Romney won’t release his tax returns.
You’d better really look at your future and figure out who’s going to be the guy that’s going to make it better for you and your children, and there is only one answer… It really is a message that would resonate well if they could just get past some of their biases that have been there from the Democratic machines that have made us look like we don’t care about this community. And that is not true. We very much care about you and your families and the opportunities that are there for you and your families.

Wow. This is awesome! I love a good slam.

The website Gawker published online hundreds of pages of documents from Mitt Romney’s tenure at Bain Capital on Thursday.
Romney’s work at the firm, as well as statement’s he’s made on the issue, have come under scrutiny over the course of the presidential campaign.
John Cook at Gawker reports on one of the revelations from the files released:
Romney has long claimed, despite evidence to the contrary, that he retired from Bain Capital in 1999. The Bain documents we obtained indicate that his involvement with the company extended years past that date.Romney indicated in a financial disclosure form that he “retired” from Bain on Feb. 11, 1999. Gawker reports, however, that the presidential candidate had a stake in Sankaty Credit Opportunities, which was not created until 2002.
